The thickness of the cymbals results in a unique long ringing tone. About our Artist: ???I???m Rujan Baidya; I come from Kathmandu, Nepal. I was born in 1977 and grew up in an herbal medicine family. A long time ago in my country, to know a person???s lifestyle or occupation you could read their surname; and my surname means ???herbal doctor???. ???I finished high school and then I started working at 16 because we are from a middle class family. So I started with a shop selling many kinds of Tibetan and Nepali handmade goods, and slowly built up by working hard. Finally, I got a chance to come to Thailand. ???I???ve been involved with and seen how popular singing bowls are since I was young. I researched and learned from many masters about how it works, sound quality, vibrations, and how it connects with religion (Buddhism and Hinduism). So I was curious when I met with those masters and went to visit their places. It is not just to know that this bowl mixes four metals, five metals, seven metals, nine metals; but you have to believe and feel it and experience how relaxing they are. ???I collected some money and began a tiny shop in Chiang Mai; I started with 20-30 pieces of the singing bowls and some Tibetan canvas paintings I got from my friends. At that time (2010-2011), Chiang Mai had many tourists, and I felt satisfied. So the first time I traveled to Chiang Mai with a tourist visa, I felt inside of me that it would work for my singing bowl business, and so I started my company with a business visa.
